Medical Imaging Services at CNOS

In some cases, a picture can be worth someone’s life. Medical imaging at CNOS is a non-invasive method of looking inside the body to identify, diagnose, and prevent health conditions—some of which can be life-threatening.

Our expert diagnostic imaging physicians use the most advanced technology to get detailed images, and use the information to keep improving your health.

Early Detection Methods with Diagnostic Imaging Systems

Timing can make all the difference in the identification and treatment of health conditions. A carotid duplex scan will examine your carotid arteries and search for blood clots, plaque buildup, and similar blood flow problems that could cause a stroke.

Advanced Imaging Technology

R

Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA)

DEXA scans measure bone mineral density, allowing us to identify whether a patient has—or is susceptible to—osteoporosis. And, if so, our specialists are equipped with the treatments and physical therapy needed to help improve the condition.

R

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

MRI scans evaluate internal conditions using a magnetic field, focusing on tendons, ligaments, nerves (soft tissue) and tumors. With the addition of the Imaging Center expansion, CNOS now houses 2 MRI machines with one ‘caring suite’ to keep patients relaxed during exams. The average scan time with this state-of-the-art technology decreases from roughly 45 to 27 minutes.

R

Computed Tomography (CT)

CT scans offer low dose radiation scans using 32 slice CT technology. The average scan time is 10-15 minutes. With this state-of-the-art machine, CNOS is able to focus on injuries, conditions, and diagnostic testing for fractures, acute injuries, and bone structure including but not limited to: chest, abdomen, pelvis, and digestive tract issues (internal bleeding/Diverticulitis)

Sometimes, unexplained pain occurs in the ligaments, tendons, and cartilage. CNOS offers arthrograms to evaluate and diagnose these joint conditions and identify potential disease. We’re committed to keeping you healthy. Visit CNOS for medical imaging and personalized diagnostic care from highly trained experts.
