Medical Imaging Services at CNOS

In some cases, a picture can be worth someone’s life. Medical imaging at CNOS is a non-invasive method of looking inside the body to identify, diagnose, and prevent health conditions—some of which can be life-threatening.

Our expert physicians use the most advanced technology to get detailed images, and use the information to keep improving your health.

Early Detection Methods

Timing can make all the difference in the identification and treatment of health conditions. A carotid duplex scan will examine your carotid arteries and search for blood clots, plaque buildup, and similar blood flow problems that could cause a stroke.

Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scans measure bone mineral density, allowing us to identify whether a patient has—or is susceptible to—osteoporosis. And, if so, our specialists are equipped with the treatments and therapy needed to help improve the condition.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and ultrasounds evaluate internal conditions, but with different technologies. An MRI uses a powerful magnet, whereas an ultrasound relies on high-frequency sound waves. Both are non-invasive ways to get a more accurate view and diagnosis of organs, potential tumors, blood vessels, and more. See us for an MRI with only a prescription—no direct referral required.

Sometimes, unexplained pain occurs in the ligaments, tendons, and cartilage. CNOS offers arthrograms to evaluate and diagnose these joint conditions and identify potential disease.
