(DAKOTA DUNES, SD) – Workforce development begins with education. And a lot of that education begins at our local universities, according to CNOS CEO Nolan Lubarski.
Lubarski is a newly-welcomed board member to Morningside University and CNOS COO Steve DeVoe also serves on the Board of Trustees at Briar Cliff University. It’s part of a greater initiative from the Siouxland company to not only support local higher education institutions, but also help develop career paths in healthcare and across the many industries of Siouxland.
“We are honored to be a part of the reputable higher education institutions of Morningside University and Briar Cliff University. It is a privilege to play a role in providing educational opportunities for the future of our communities,” said Lubarski. “At CNOS, we value our workforce as our greatest asset and it’s incredibly exciting to engage in developing varied career paths. It’s about supporting these great institutions and the entire community’s workforce beyond just healthcare.”
According to Dr. Albert Mosley, President of Morningside University, partners like CNOS and others are essential to maximize the impact of higher education. “Morningside University and CNOS are proud to strengthen our alliance with the addition of Nolan to our Board of Directors,” said Mosley. “With Steve joining the Briar Cliff board and working together with President Patrick J. Schulte, it’s a great way for all our institutions to demonstrate how collaboration benefits the entire Siouxland community.”
The partnerships are the first of many initiatives to come, adds Lubarski. “We look forward to collaborating more and sharing business insights to ensure our local universities continue to be destinations of choice for our local, regional, national, and international students.”
