Alyssa Mrsny is originally from Newcastle, NE. She went to Wayne State University for her undergraduate and received a major in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She attended Union College in Lincoln for PA school where she received her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies. The reason she became a PA is simply to help people and positively impact their lives.
Having previously worked in rural Southeastern NE, Henderson and Sutton, Alyssa wanted to move closer back home after starting a family. She and her husband both grew up near Siouxland, so being back to this area was just the right fit.
While doing family practice in Henderson and Sutton, Alyssa developed a strong interest in dermatology, both medical and cosmetic. She grew passionate about medical and cosmetic procedures, injections, general skin checks, and acne.
She tell us she enjoys helping people and making them feel better about themselves. “Skin is the largest organ of the body and it affects us in every way possible-socially, emotionally, mentally, and physiologically. I truly care about my patients being happy, comfortable, and confident in their skin.”
Alyssa’s top 3 favorite things to do are spending time with family, boating and doing water sports, and working!
