Joanna was raised here in Siouxland most of her life. She graduated from South Sioux City and joined the United States Navy in 2008. Joanna served 4 years in various duty stations before coming back to Siouxland to attend Morningside University where she graduated with Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2017 and her MSN-FNP in 2023.
Her experience as a Registered Nurse is in labor and delivery, outpatient surgery, radiology, and infusion care. She is also a certified medical interpreter for Spanish speaking patients.
She lives in South Sioux City with her husband, three girls, Winston (the pug), and two cats. She enjoys attending her kid’s activities, spending time with her parents and siblings, movie nights, road trips, and fishing with her family.
