Dr. Michelle Daffer specializes in general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, Mohs surgery, lesion removal, Botox & Collagen treatment and Sclerotherapy.
On top of receiving her medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Dr. Daffer is an active member of the American Board of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Keeping up-to-date on the latest trends, treatments, and reports are important Dr. Daffer, who enjoys empowering patients with treatments and advice specific to their health and cosmetic goals. Her favorite treatment is currently SculpSure, a non-invasive, no down time procedure that treats subcutaneous fat with sound waves.
“I believe patients, particularly young patients, should understand how their decisions now can affect the health and resiliency of their skin for years to come,” said Dr. Daffer. “Tanning in a tanning bed just one time, for instance, can increase your risk of melanoma by 10%, and going ten times increases your chances of skin cancer by 75%. It’s much easier to advise and prevent than treat and cure, even with all the advancements in dermatology.”
“I love working with my staff and seeing patients,” added Dr. Daffer. “It is such a privilege to be part of my patient’s lives. I love that I can help them look and feel their best.”
When she isn’t treating the skin concerns of her Siouxland patients, Dr. Daffer enjoys golfing, running, and hanging out with her kids—all while wearing sunscreen.
