Dr. Grant Shumaker is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in pain management, spine surgery and stereotactic radiosurgery. He received his medical degree from Yale University and went on to complete his residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Shumaker is a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
Dr. Shumaker has published articles in numerous medical journals and has presented abstracts at various conferences and meetings. He joined us from Racine, Wisconsin, where he was practicing at a neurological clinic since 1998.
In 1982 he achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Shumaker also has had a private pilot’s license since 1984 and has been a certified scuba diver since 1987.
