Savannah graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa in December of 2018 with her Bachelors in Athletic Training. While there she served on the Iowa Athletic Trainers Society Student Leadership Council as well as Treasurer and President of the Northwestern Athletic Training Student Society. She also had the opportunity to present original research at the Iowa Academy of Science. While at Northwestern, most of her experience came from working with the football team, serving as the senior intern in her last semester, traveling with the team, and gaining hands on experience working side by side with her preceptor. Savannah passed the BOC in February of 2019. From there, she went to the University of South Dakota and got her Masters in Kinesiology and Sport Management with an emphasis on Exercise Science, graduating in December of 2020 with a 4.0. She worked as a graduate assistant with the university football team and the men/women's swim and dive teams; traveling all over with them, working daily treatments, and gaining experience with surgical rehabs as well as learning how to administer COVID19 tests. She began working for CNOS March 1st of 2021 at Briar Cliff University where she covers volleyball, women's basketball, baseball, and softball. She moved to the Siouxland area with her husband and two dogs and are expecting our first child in February 2022. She also currently serves as the chairman for the Early Professionals Committee, a branch of IATS that serves athletic trainers that are in their first 7 years of certification.
