Medical Education: University of Iowa
Fellowship: Mayo Clinic
Residency: Medical College of Wisconsin

Dr. Wisco has been treating rheumatology patients in the Siouxland area since October 1, 1995, and with CNOS since May of 2001.   Born in Dubuque, Iowa, Dr. Wisco went to the University of Iowa for medical school, where he had an early rotation in Rheumatology and found he enjoyed treating the patients in this area. His fellowship was at the Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, MN, and from there he moved to Milwaukee, WI, and practiced from July 1990 to September 1995.

Dr. Wisco and his wife, Angela, have three daughters: Alison, Natalie and Valerie.  An individual with impeccable attention to detail, Dr. Wisco enjoys complex jigsaw puzzles, fishing, and time with his family.

Dr. Wisco has a strong bond with his patients due to both the nature of the issues he treats and his depth of compassion. Lisa Claeys, local police captain, offers this testimony:

“He is always on time and yet he is never rushed or makes me feel rushed.  I have always felt that I am important to him and worthy of his time.  In addition to being a caring and compassionate doctor, Dr. Wisco is also one of the most learned and educated men I know.  He is always knowledgeable and up on current diagnosis and treatments.”

Due to the very full and specific nature of Dr. Wisco’s practice, he is unable to take workers compensation, litigation, or disability cases.
