Maren Carroll

A Colorado Springs native, Maren Carroll earned her first bachelor's degree from Whitworth University in Health, Fitness, and Physical Education, and her BS from Colorado State University-Pueblo in Athletic Training. She completed her master's in Kinesiology at the University of Texas-Tyler while working as an assistant athletic trainer at Tyler Junior College, focusing on football, volleyball, and women's basketball. She spent a year as the head academy athletic trainer at Major League Soccer team DC United, and then spent a year in the same position at Philadelphia Union, learning a specialized concentration in elite athlete ALC rehab while working with NFL, NHL, Championship soccer (England) and Premier League athletes. After leaving Philadelphia, Maren spent time traveling with US Soccer Youth and Adult National teams as a lead athletic trainer and physiologist for some of the best young soccer players in the US while completing her FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. She then moved on to work as the head athletic trainer at two different junior colleges, also putting in time as the founding director of the AAS in Sports Science at Northwest Kansas Technical College.

Maren lives in Sioux City with her husband, Rob, 2-year old son Ole Gunnar, and her two dogs, Cody and Maggie.
