Dr. Klopper graduated from high school in Philip, SD after which he attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls. After graduating from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine he completed neurosurgical residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, aviation, hunting and fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He has specific interests in complex spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, deep brain stimulation, and brain tumor surgery.
I came to CNOS, more specifically, to Dr. Klopper, after I was having issues with my previous neurosurgeon not believing the neck pain I was having was real. It took Dr. Klopper a very short time to figure out what the problem was and I had surgery to correct it. I just recently came back to him for some major lower back issues and he did the surgery. I have had many surgeries in my life and now just two weeks out I feel the best I have in years, excluding surgical pain. The staff there has been incredible, Dr. Klopper, James his PA, and Sara, his nurses are some of the best I have ever encountered! They are professional and so caring. Even though it's an hour's drive for me to come to their clinic, I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!Anonymous Patient
Dr. Klopper is the best thing CNOS has ever done for me. I wish I could do more to thank him. He has given me so much hope since my last back surgery ruined my leg. He has given me the belief I will be able to live again.Anonymous Patient
