Brandon Marreel

Brandon Marreel was born in Hooper, Nebraska and graduated from Logan View High School. Brandon has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 1999.  He is certified at both the state and national levels through the NATABOC and the state health licensure departments. Brandon earned his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and Athletic Training from Wayne State College.  He worked with all athletic teams but primarily with the football, basketball, and women's soccer teams. Also, during his time at WSC he was selected to complete an internship at The Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. He then went on to earn his Masters Degree in Sports Administration from The University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado, serving as a Graduate Assistant during his time there. He worked at Cheyenne High School in Las Vegas, Nevada following graduate school for two years. Upon moving to Sioux City, Brandon was the head athletic trainer for the Sioux City Explorers and the assistant athletic trainer for the Sioux City Bandits. He went on to be the Head Athletic Trainer at Morningside College for three years overseeing all teams. In his time there, the women's basketball team won back to back NAIA national titles and the the college successfully transitioned athletics to the NAIA level. In the fall of 2005, Brandon took over the athletic training position at Sioux City North High School. He oversees all athletic teams, practices, and events. In 2019, Brandon was selected by IHSAA and IHSADA as an award winner for "Outstanding Service Award- Athletic Trainer of the Year". Brandon is married to his wife Heather and has two daughters, McKayla and Peyton.
