Abbey Johnston earned her Bachelors degree in Athletic Training from the accredited undergraduate program at the University of Northern Iowa. Her main experience was with the UNI Football team where she traveled with the team, rehabilitated surgical athletes, and participated in game day preparations. Abbey earned multiple awards such as Student of the Month, UNI Student Athletic Training Organization Co-President Award, and Mentor of the Year Award. She worked in Waterloo for three years following graduation and the successful completion of her Board of Certification Exam. She taught undergraduate students of the UNI Athletic Training Program while providing Athletic Training services to Waterloo East High School and was given the Outstanding Preceptor Award. She is originally from Sioux City as she graduated from Sergeant Bluff-Luton and she is excited to be back in the area working for CNOS and providing her services to the Siouxland area. Go Black Raiders!
