This position provides evaluation, program design, and implementation for therapy and treatment of upper extremity patients to facilitate maximum function and prevent dysfunction.
Full-time Occupational Therapist
Education Requirements
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy (AOTA) program, Bachelors Degree or higher. Certificate/License: current license to practice Occupational Therapy in South Dakota and Iowa. Hand therapy splint experience preferred.
Qualifications
Knowledge of rehab and medical terminology, the ability to work cooperatively with all clinical and non-clinical staff to assure quality patient care
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for attending continuing education programs, sharing treatment techniques with staff and community professionals, determining and reporting patient progress, and maintaining high professional standards. This position is also responsible for evaluating patient's current function and therapy potential.
