Neurological Physical Therapist

The ideal candidate will be a clinician passionate about neurological conditions and functional improvement of their patients. The candidate will possess leadership and communication skills needed to lead the development of our Outpatient Neurological Physical Therapy service line at CNOS. Some common diagnoses requiring intervention will be: BPPV/Vertigo, Migraine/tension headache, Balance/Movement disorders, Dizziness, Post-concussion, Proprioception deficits, Ambulatory post-stroke. Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree or higher and graduate of an accredited physical therapy program; current license to practice Physical Therapy in South Dakota and Iowa; if not already in possession, display an interest in obtaining appropriate clinical certifications for neurologically-based interventions/conditions. New graduates possessing strong leadership skills for growth and development in the above specialty area are encouraged to apply.

Medical Scribe

This position is responsible for transcribing history and physical exam and documenting accurately the physician’s encounter with the patient in the exam room; facilitating patient flow and ensuring an accurate and complete medical records for each patient while increasing efficiency and productivity of the physician. Candidate must have medical terminology; knowledge of medical transcription guidelines and practices including legal responsibilities related to confidentiality; effective written and oral communication skills with physicians and other staff; bilingual preferred.

Human Resource Generalist

This position is responsible for the coordination of human resource responsibilities to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and CNOS policies and procedures. Candidate must have: good communication and customer service skills; knowledge of insurance industry and enrollment process; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field preferred; knowledge of BambooHR and Sage 100 computer programs preferred.

Certified Athletic Trainer

CNOS is seeking an individual to serve as a full-time Athletic Trainer. This individual will also have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience within the multiple ancillary services that CNOS provides, such as Sports Performance, Athletic Training coverage of area special events and outreach high schools, Physical Therapy services, and Durable Medical Equipment. The Center for Neurosciences, Orthopedics and Spine (CNOS) in Dakota Dunes, SD /Sioux City Iowa is seeking to recruit an additional neurologist. A particularly good fit would be for a general neurologist with EEG/ EMG qualification. Fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology is highly desirable, but are open to other fellowship training. All neurologists in the group are board certified with secondary board certification and expertise in a variety of areas including sleep disorders, clinical neurophysiology, Botox, and multiple sclerosis. There are two major hospitals and one surgical specialty hospital in our area, all very well equipped and held in very high regard in the region. Virtually all specialties are represented by the approximately 250 physicians on the active medical staffs . Hospital call is shared equally among the 5 current neurologists in the group. Inpatient call is consultative only.
