| Rehabilitation Services Rehabilitation Services are divided into two categories: Physical therapy and occupational therapy. Physical therapy is concerned with treating disorders of the musculoskeletal system to restore maximum functional independence. Occupational therapy helps people live better with illness, injury or disability by enhancing their ability to execute tasks and participate fully in life situations. Occupational therapists and certified hand therapists at CNOS are skilled at custom-fabricating splints for a wide variety of diagnoses . These include, but are not limited to; fractures, tendon injuries, nerve injuries, repetitive motion injuries, and neurological injuries. If your physician determines that an off-the-shelf splint is not right for you or your diagnosis, the occupational therapy team at CNOS will be happy to assist you with your custom-splinting needs.
