Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy is a science-driven, evidence-based profession that enables people of all ages to live life to its fullest by helping them promote health and prevent - or live better with - illness, injury or disability.

Occupational therapists (OT's) and certified occupational therapy assistants (COTA's) at CNOS utilize specialized skills in assessment, planning, and treatment to provide therapeutic interventions to prevent dysfunction, restore function and/or reverse the progression of pathology of the upper extremity in order to enhance an individual's ability to execute tasks and to participate fully in life situations.
